KEY FACTS

Sources of Information: Reports from Partners/Field Office, NDMA, Desk based Research and UNOCHA • HRF Pakistan is sharing these situation reports for its donors and supporters, residing nationally and internationally, in order to fast track a humanitarian response for the flood affected.

• 151 people have died, 101 have been injured, 4,517 houses have been damaged, 2,276 villages have been affected and 818,044 people have been affected due to Floods 2015.

• HRF has established presence in Districts of Mianwali and Rajanpur, two worst affected districts. HRF has a hospital in Isakhel that has faced huge damages due to the hospital, the rehabilitation process of the hospital would complete by the end of this week. In Rajanpur, HRF is in the process of launching WASH services in order to help the flood affected.

• Food Packets Distributed:

• NDMA: 24 tons, Armed Forces: 197.84 tons, Balochistan Govt: 2.9 tons, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 87.72 tons, Punjab: 2,970 tons, Gilgit Baltistan: 22.5 tons – Total: 3304.96 tons • Tents Provided:

• NDMA has handed over 2.800 tents in GB, 2,000 tents in AJ&K, 5,000 in Punjab.

• Armed Forces: 249, Balochistan: 82, KPK: 1,665, Punjab: 25,800,
Sindh: 11,000, AJ&K: 1,000 and Gilgit Baltistan: 580.

• Total: 49,696 tents.

• Priority needs remain around food, health, protection, and water, sanitation and hygiene activities. Urgent funding resources are needed to continue scaling up the humanitarian response.

• Planned Activities by HRF: WASH and Health Services. Looking for potential donors for food security, hygiene kits, temporary and permanent shelters.

• Funding Received: Through HRF UK and local community fund raising (for the moment), building proposals for institutional donors.
