Pneumonia is preventable and treatable, but deadly
Description: Malaria Consortium are working with partners including the Global Coalition against Pneumonia, Every Breath Counts, United4Oxygen Alliance and the Pneumonia Diagnostics Network to test, treat and innovate to help #StopPneumonia. Pneumonia continues to be the deadliest infectious disease of children under the age of 5 worldwide - more than HIV, TB, ebola and malaria combined. Malaria Consortium has been one of the leading implementers of community based primary healthcare programmes involving pneumonia diagnostics and treatment for over a decade. This includes the inception and testing of new tools to diagnose the disease.
