A devastating storm triggered from a sea depression with violent wind struck the coastal belt of Bangladesh namely Satkhira, Bagerhat, Patuakhali, Barfuna, Noakhali and Cox's Bazar dstricts at the period of evening on 19 September 2006. Meanwhile, the heavy downpour was active entire the Bangladesh and strong over the North Bay under the impact of depression. Therefore, Different districts of coastal area including some parts of Dhaka have been inundated due to rainfall for four consecutive days.
