We are pleased to present this brief report on the commitments that we undertook during the 9th European Regional Conference in Florence, Italy in June 2014.
When we signed up to the Florence Call for Action, we committed to bring novel ideas and new approaches to the main areas of our work. The document summarized our response to the humanitarian needs of that time, such as the social impact of the economic crisis and the increasing level of migration.

In 2017, you did something amazing.
By supporting UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, you delivered assistance to families who have been forced to flee war or persecution in their time of greatest need. Thanks to you, we made sure that they received shelter, essential supplies such as blankets and kitchen supplies, food, clean water, and access to vital services. Together, we also helped to protect their rights and give them a safe place to call home.
AMOUNT: EUR 36 500 000
The Commission on Population and Development convened governments, UN agencies, civil society actors, and others to its 51st Session (CPD51) in New York from April 9- 13th. The theme of this year’s Commission was “Sustainable cities, human mobility and international migration”.
