Research shows that the economic cost of the war is greater than central government spending on health

Kampala - Research released today indicates that the social and economic costs of the 16-year conflict in Northern Ugandan have been huge. US$100 million, or 3 percent of GDP, has been lost to the Ugandan economy annually - affecting the development of an entire nation.
