Gaziantep – 9 April 2018: After a ceasefire that lasted for a few days in Duma, the Syrian regime forces struck on Saturday, 7 April the residential neighborhoods in Duma by heavy shelling and poisonous gases.
The SNA member organizations of Syrian humanitarian NGOs have been responding to the evacuees from eastern Ghouta. They have received families and immediately intervened by providing first aid, meals, and psychosocial support.
Gaziantep – 9 March 2018: An inter-agency convoy of forty-six trucks carrying health and nutrition supplies has entered Douma city on 5 March 2018 supposedly to be enough for 27,500 people of the 393,000 trapped in eastern Ghouta. The same day of the convoy recorded the highest daily toll since 24th February in which at least 100 were killed including a dentist, Dr. Ahmad Wahbah. This convoy came despite the conflict and the slaughter of civilians in eastern Ghouta are ongoing.
Gaziantep – 9 March 2018: The systematic targeting of humanitarian facilities continues with no consideration to international laws nor conventions. Since 2017 until today, over 40 medical personnel were killed in Syria.
As a result, Syrian humanitarian organizations have lost their trust in United Nations and the international community to be able to provide protection for relief workers and facilities in Syria.

From our collective moral responsibility to the Syrian people in need, Syrian Humanitarian Non-Governmental Organizations call on the government in Damascus, and its allies, to grant humanitarian access to those in need, and to stop targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in eastern Ghouta.
Gaziantep – 20 February 2018: Over 100 civilians and humanitarian workers have been killed, hundreds wounded, and five hospitals were targeted and put out of service in Damascus’ suburb of eastern Ghouta, on a day described by a humanitarian worker as “judgment day”.
