Singaporean NGO Mercy Relief initiates disaster risk management programme amidst damaging cold lava floods

About 2,000 needful locals have benefited from the services provided by the Mercy Relief-SingHealth field medical centre at an IDP camp in Sukkur, Pakistan.
Saturday, 4 September 2010 - Singapore-born humanitarian agency, Mercy Relief (MR) sent its second relief team to provide the next tranche of relief supplies to the affected communities in the flood-ravaged areas of Pakistan last Tuesday (1st Sep) morning. Led by its Chief Executive Hassan Ahmad, the eight-man team will focus their humanitarian efforts at Sindh and the Khyber-Pakhtunkwa (KP) provinces.
