Middle Juba river started flooding riverside farms from 3rd Nov-8 Nov 2017, continue flooding and it was affecting the day by day farming and four other new villages were affected. Floods are arriving in Sakow today on 8th November 2017, the day after it is also going to flood and affect new areas; those villages that were affected are shown below in the table :-

Juba river still are continue re-flooding and it effecting a new areas since 9th May from midnight until Today continue flooding, riverine area in Sakow District, Middle Juba Region.

Since 9th May 2016 up to today 13/5/2016 was effected these villages are showing Table below.

Today 9th May 2016 Juba river was re-flooding again since last midnight until now continue flooding and it was effected a new riverine area in Sakow District, Middle Juba Region,

Before floods was effected 16 villages only and some villages was effected they are farmer , but know since last midnight until now some villages are evacuating to the nearly highlands areas.

Sakow District flood was started 2nd May 2016 flooding current situation in Middle Juba, river was flooded area river bank area and was effected local farmer in that area and destroy lot of different crops like cash crop and normal crop was using for local farmed .

The affected crops are:

  1. Maize

  2. Sim-Sim

  3. Cow-Peans

  4. Pop kin

  5. Onion

  6. Tomato

  7. Others
