Disability Assessment among Syrian Refugees in Jordan and Lebanon
Concerning the lack of disability data in the Syria crisis context, Humanity & Inclusion (HI) and iMMAP conducted the study aimed at the following:
1.Provide statistically reliable prevalence of disability as well as disability disaggregated data indicators on access to services.
Security Forces 8 September 2018 .
- Found an ISIS leaders’ mass grave in Tilkaif district, the mass grave contained remnants of 20 ISIS leaders executed by ISIS because of their war failure.
- Found and cleared 14 IEDs and a mortar shell in Kwaynisa village, 6 IEDs in Batisha village, 8 IEDs in Al-Mawali village and an IED in Al-Shuhada village.
Security Forces 30 August 2018
- Found 3 ISIS operating bases in Al-Sina’iya area in Mosul city, the operating bases contained IEDs and small weapons.
ISIS 30 August 2018
- Raided on and attacked a PMF leader house in Khwayn village of Al-Shora sub-district in the south of Mosul in which they killed the leader and 7 of his family members.

The number of IDPs and returnees as per the IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix DTM up to August 15th, 2018 remains almost the same with two million displaced persons and 3.9 million returnees. The returnees direction is towards to the liberated areas with the majority of returnees is towards Mosul.
Lack of basic services and livelihood opportunities still constitute the major hinderances towards IDPs desire to return to their homes.
