(IsraelNN.com) - Following consultation with cabinet ministers, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon announced Israel would not cooperate with the United Nations fact-finding team being dispatched to investigate the situation in Jenin.
Mr. Sharon explained that the committee members were selected without Israeli involvement and Israel has learned that Annan plans to broaden the scope of the committee's mandate to inspect other PA areas in addition to Jenin.

(IsraelNN.com) A female suicide bomber perpetrated the suicide bombing attack at the Maccabim Checkpoint on Route 443, between Modi'in and Jerusalem at about 10:30pm. Three persons were wounded, one moderately and two light. Two mobile intensive care units were dispatched to the scene to treat the wounded that are en route to the Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer.
A vehicle carrying three Arabs approached the checkpoint. A female got out of the vehicle with a bomb strapped to her.
