Le Programme national de lutte contre le paludisme, qui supervise la distribution des moustiquaires imprégnées en RDC, a précisé mardi 17 décembre qu’aucun ménage ne doit en recevoir plus de quatre. Plusieurs familles de Kinshasa avaient protesté après avoir reçu quatre moustiquaires alors qu’ils étaient parfois plus de 10. Le responsable de la prévention au PNLP, Dr Charles Longoso, a expliqué que cette distribution était forfaitaire selon la taille des ménages. Il reconnait cependant que le PNLP aurait pu mieux communiquer à ce sujet.

LUSITU, Zambia, Mar 26 2013 (IPS) - Indigenous people who were displaced from the Zambezi Valley almost six decades ago for the construction of the Kariba Dam say they have not benefited from the development they made way for.
The building of the Kariba hydroelectric dam was supposed to usher in a bright future for the people of Zambia and Zimbabwe who gave up their land for its construction.
