Riyadh, Jun.1 (BNA): Saudi National Campaign for Supporting Brothers in Syria distributed through its office in Lebanon 1092 food baskets to Syrian refugees in the cities of Sidon and Akkar in its 12th and 13th stations within its program during the holy of month of Ramadan.
The director of the campaign's office in Lebanon, Walid al-Jalal said that the baskets provide Syrian refugees with their basic items of food, indicating that these distributions will arrive in other Lebanese cities.
Aden, Mar. 6 (BNA): Health situation in Yemen, particularly of children, has seen double deterioration since the Houthi militias and the forces loyal to deposed president Saleh usurped power in Sanaa.
This deteriorating situation led to a considerable drop in the country's general services, particularly in the health field, whereas they dared to prevent the delivery of medical aid and destroyed a number of medical facilities and institutions, according to Yemeni official reports.
Manama, Jan. 15 (BNA): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will continue delivering all kinds of humanitarian aid to countries and peoples all over the world, following the footsteps of the late Shaikh Zayed Al-Nahyan, whose humanitarian approach has been maintained by the successive leaders, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Abdul Ridha Abdulla Al-Khoury said.
Al Mukalla, Oct. 6 (BNA): The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) today distributed various items used by students in Al Mukalla, which coincides with the beginning of the new school year 2016-2017.
The gesture is part of the ERC's efforts to provide infrastructure for educational projects, according to UAE News Agency (WAM).
The project is also part of an intensive effort that includes the distribution of a variety of items such as wall charts, tables and desks to a number of students in various schools in Hadramaut coast.
Al-Mukalla, Sep. 8 (BNA): As part of its humanitarian initiative to alleviate the suffering of the people of Yemen, the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has delivered more relief to 466 deaf or visually-impaired students in Hadhramaut.
The ERC said 266 students from Al-Nour Centre for the Blind and 200 students from Al-Amal Association for the Deaf had received food packages in addition to covers and blankets. The gesture was aimed at helping families of those students to be more resilient so as to cope with difficult living conditions they were experiencing.

Held under the patronage of HM the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the inaugural ceremony was attended by Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Abdulla Nsour.
Manama, Aug. 13 (BNA): Following directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), and under the patronage of His Majesty the King's Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and RCO's Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the second aid consignment was delivered to the Yemeni people.
Gaza, May 31 (BNA): Chairman of the Presidential Committee for Coordination of Goods into Gaza Strip, Raed Fattouh, today told Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that 630 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid for commercial and agricultural sectors this morning arrived in Gaza through Karem Abu Salem commercial crossing.
Fattouh elaborated that 65 trucks of the shipment loaded with construction materials for international projects and another 150 trucks loaded with gravel for road infrastructure today entered Gaza.
Manama, May 27 (BNA): Bahrain will dispatch urgent humanitarian relief aid to Yemeni people as part of efforts to alleviate their hardships and meet their basic needs, particularly goods, foodstuffs and medication.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today directed the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) to extend the urgent lifeline, in a move stemming from fraternal bonds with the Yemeni people.

Manama, February2 (BNA) Bahrain and Sudan have today signed a key agreement, giving the green light for "Khairat Al-Bahrain" agricultural project to go ahead. Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf sealed the deal with Sudanese Investment Minister, Head of Higher Investment Authority, Dr. Mustafa Othman Ismael.
