Repatriation of Afghan refugees was 10% more compared to 144 refugees that repatriated between 18 and 24 November 2018. Returns of undocumented Afghans increased by 42% compared to 436 individuals that returned in the preceding week.

Some 142 (89%) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance, while 550 (89%) of the undocumented Afghan returnees were provided post-arrival assistance. UNHCR has suspended the voluntary repatriation program from 1 December 2018 until 28 February 2019 for the winter break.

Repatriation of Afghan refugees was 45% more compared to 99 refugees that repatriated between 11 and 17 November 2018. Returns of undocumented Afghans decreased by 26% compared to 587 individuals that returned in the preceding week.
Some 95% (137 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance, while 89% (388 individuals) of the undocumented Afghan returnees were provided post-arrival assistance.

23 Nov 2018 description

Repatriation of Afghan refugees was 54% less compared to 216 refugees that repatriated between 4 and 10 November 2018. Returns of undocumented Afghans increased, by 52%, compared to 387 individuals that returned in the preceding week.

Some 97% (96 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance, while 87% (513 individuals) of the undocumented Afghan returnees were provided post-arrival assistance.

07 Nov 2018 description

Repatriation of Afghan refugees increased by 79% compared to 165 refugees that repatriated between 21 and 27 October 2018. Returns of undocumented Afghans also increased, by 24%, compared to 549 individuals that returned in the preceding week.

Some 99% (293 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance, while 82% (561 individuals) of the undocumented Afghan returnees were provided post-arrival assistance.

Repatriation of Afghan refugees increased by 30% compared to 127 refugees that repatriated between 14 and 20 October 2018. Returns of undocumented Afghans also increased, by 85%, compared to 297 individuals that returned in the preceding week.

Some 95% (157 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance, while 93% (512 individuals) of the undocumented Afghan returnees were provided post-arrival assistance

18 Oct 2018 description

Repatriation of Afghan refugees decreased 22% compared to 366 refugees that repatriated between 30 September and 6 October 2018. Returns of undocumented Afghans also decreased by 24%, compared to 706 individuals who returned the previous week.

Some 61% (172 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance, while 85% (460 individuals) of the undocumented Afghan returnees were provided post-arrival assistance.

13 Sep 2018 description

Repatriation of Afghan refugees was significantly higher compared to 166 refugees that repatriated between 26 August and 1 September. Return of undocumented Afghans also increased, by 27%, compared to 705 individuals that returned in the preceding week.

Some 96% (525 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance, while 77% (687 individuals) of the undocumented Afghan returnees were provided post-arrival assistance.

Weekly repatriation of registered Afghan refugees was 53% less compared to 621 refugees repatriated between 29 July and 4 August 2018. Return of undocumented Afghans also decreased, by 34%, compared to the preceding week.
All 292 Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance, while 93% (585 individuals) of the undocumented Afghan returnees were provided post-arrival assistance.
