Repatriation of registered Afghan refugees was 9% less compared to 1,054 refugees that repatriated between 24 and 30 September 2017. The return of undocumented Afghans increased by 27% compared to last week’s figure of 899 individuals.

Some 89% (1,010 individuals) of the undocumented returnees were provided with needs-based assistance while 96% (929 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance.

Repatriation of registered Afghan refugees was 23% less compared to 1,377 refugees that repatriated between 17 and 23 September 2017. The return of undocumented Afghans also decreased, by 31%, compared to last week’s figure of 1,307 individuals.
Some 91% (819 individuals) of the undocumented returnees were provided with needs-based assistance while 96% (1,015 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance.

There was no significant change in cross-border movement during the reporting week. Repatriation of registered Afghan refugees to Afghanistan slightly decreased by 4% compared to 1,437 refugees that repatriated between 10 and 16 September 2017. With a 2% decrease, the return of undocumented Afghans remained similar to last week’s figure of 1,337 individuals.

Some 96% (1,249 individuals) of the undocumented returnees were provided with needs-based assistance while 98% (1,354 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance.

Repatriation of registered Afghan refugees to Afghanistan increased significantly this week compared to last week’s figure of 112. Return of undocumented Afghans also increased compared to 367 individuals that returned between 3 and 9 September 2017.
Some 90% (1,204 individuals) of the undocumented returnees were provided with needs-based assistance while 97% (1,400 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance.

Cross-border movement has remained low since Eid holidays. Repatriation of registered Afghan refugees to Afghanistan was 24% this week compared to last week’s figure of 148. Return of undocumented Afghans also remained low with a decrease of 18% compared to 447 individuals that returned between 27 August and 2 September 2017.
Some 84% (307 individuals) of the undocumented returnees were provided with needs-based assistance while 100% (112 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance.

Repatriation of registered Afghan refugees to Afghanistan increased by 10% this week compared to last week’s figure of 1,015. Return of undocumented Afghans increased by 27% compared to 905 individuals that returned between 13 and 19 August 2017.

Some 90% (1,036 individuals) of the undocumented returnees were provided with needs-based assistance while 99% (1,103 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance.

Repatriation of registered Afghan refugees to Afghanistan was 28% less this week compared to last week’s figure of 1,409. Return of undocumented Afghans decreased by 38% compared to 1,464 individuals that returned between 6 and 12 August 2017.

Some 95% (862 individuals) of the undocumented returnees were provided with needs-based assistance while 99% (1,000 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance.

Repatriation of registered Afghan refugees to Afghanistan was 6% less this week compared to last week’s figure of 1,731. Return of undocumented Afghans increased by 5% compared to 1,885 individuals that returned between 23 and 29 July 2017.

Some 96% (1,898 individuals) of the undocumented returnees were provided with needs-based assistance while 97% (1,576 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance.

Repatriation of registered Afghan refugees to Afghanistan decreased by 20% compared to last week’s figure of 2,166. Similarly, the return of undocumented Afghans decreased by 13% compared to 2,162 individuals that returned between 16 and 22 July 2017. Some 91% (1,724 individuals) of the undocumented returnees were provided with needs-based assistance while 98% (1,704 individuals) of the registered Afghan refugee returnees were provided with cash assistance.
