Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Officials and other people across the DPRK are making efforts to recover from the flood damage.

Downpour, triggered by typhoon-7, hit the whole area of Korea on July 18 and 19. It rained heavily in some areas of Pyongyang City, North and South Phyongan, Jagang, South Hamgyong and Kangwon provinces from night of July 22 to 9:00 on July 24.

The downpour and strong rainstorm destroyed farmland, houses, public buildings and bridges and temporarily suspended train service in those areas, causing big damage.
