- This report provides an update of activities
carried out under the Multi-Country Demobilization and Reintegration Program
(MDRP) since the time of the previous quarterly progress report (July to
September 2003). The report is organized by the four main components of
the MDRP, namely: (i) national demobilization and reintegration programs;
(ii) special projects; (iii) regional activities; and (iv) overall program
management. A revised work plan for the period January to March 2004 is
also included in this report.
I. National Programs
The Federal Foreign Office supported 307 projects for humanitarian aid, humanitarian mine clearance as well as disaster prevention all over the world in 2003 to the tune of EUR 71.5 million.
