Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed Abdulaziz Kattan reported today that the Kingdom transferred its payments for July, August and September 2015, totaling $60 million, to the Palestinian National Authority. Since January 2013, the Kingdom increased its assistance to the Palestinian Authority's budget from $14 million to $20 million a month.
A shipment of 30 tons of Saudi medical supplies for the Gaza Strip arrived in at Rafah Port today. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Egyptian Red Crescent Society in Sinai, Maj. Gen. Jaber Al-Arabi, said that his group is coordinating with the Palestinian Red Crescent to distribute the Saudi aid to hospitals and medical centers in Gaza Strip.

Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, today handed over the Kingdom's annual contribution of $2 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). Dr. Al-Saleh said that the Kingdom's contribution came upon directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for supporting the Palestinians in the Occupied Territories.
Saudi Arabia donated $12 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to help affected Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The donation was announced today in a statement issued by the Saudi Embassy in Amman, Jordan.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz will host 1,000 Palestinians of families of those killed by Israelis to perform Hajj at his own expense this year. The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-AsShaikh has expressed his appreciation to King Abdullah for his keenness that Palestinians perform the rituals of Islam. Sheikh Al-AsShaikh noted that that with this royal order, King Abdullah would have hosted 12,000 Palestinians of families of martyrs and prisoners.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has issued a directed to provide the Palestinian Ministry of Health with SR 100 million ($26.7 million), Acting Minister of Health Adel Faqih said in statement today. Minister Faqih said the royal directive allocated this amount to meet the shortage of medicines and urgent medical supplies for the treatment of wounded and injured people in light of the brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
