Humanitarian staff are often confronted with chronic diseases, particularly when crises hit populations from middle-income countries and in urban settings. However, as programmatic responses are relatively recent, there is a lack of trained and experienced staff. To fill this gap, CERAH offers a one-week intensive course on chronic diseases in humanitarian contexts.
CERAH offers a one-week intensive course on Sexual and Reproductive Health in Emergencies. This course was developed jointly with the Norwegian Refugee Council’s standby roster NORCAP and UNFPA.
The course aims to develop the understanding of sexual and reproductive health issues in emergencies and provide participants with the necessary skills to coordinate the implementation of a minimum set of sexual and reproductive health interventions. It addresses to mid-level or senior managers.
