The Child Protection in Emergencies Graduate Certificate Course aims to increase the capacity of child protection in emergencies sector-wide, as well as raise immediate response capability.

With the high demand for courses in Child Protection in Emergencies, and in line with the global level Child Protection Working Group (CPWG) Learning and Development Task Force Plan, this online course supports the increase of the capacity of the humanitarian workforce in the area of Child Protection in Emergencies.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Certificate in Working with Families Affected by Sexual Abuse aims to increase the capacity of child protection professionals in:
 understanding of the dynamics of sexual abuse and its impact on child development
 understanding of the long term impacts of sexual abuse
 understanding of the development and dynamics of sexual offending behaviours of both children and adults

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Certificate in Interviewing Children aims to increase the capacity of child protection professionals in the field to interview children in a safe and forensic way.

Across various areas of CPiE including: FTR; Justice for Children; Case Management; and MRM GCRV – there may be a need to interview children. Interviewing children can be harmful and lead to misleading information if done in a way contrary to best practice.

This course aims to overcome this and increase the number of trained professionals in the field.
