Introduction:

Data analysis techniques are an essential component that organisations' research and M&E sections should master. Research Analytics International collaborates with local, national, and international organisations to enhance their capacity, enabling them to be self-sufficient in conducting data analysis and reporting tasks once the research components of various projects are concluded. This training will be practical, utilising real data to equip participants with skills in SPSS, its various functions, and the analysis and interpretation of results. The following modules will be covered during the training sessions.

Module II

  • Introduction to Advanced Analysis
    • Hypothesis testing
    • Defining Null and Alternative Hypotheses
    • Parametric and Non-Parametric Tests
    • T-tests: one-sample t-test, independent sample t-test, paired sample t-test
    • Chi-square test: goodness-of-fit test; independence test
  • Bivariate and Multivariate Analysis
  • Correlation
  • Regression analysis: linear, multiple, logistic regression, etc.
  • Multinomial logistic regression
  • Interpretation of results of advanced analysis

This training is for:

  2. Staff from the United Nations, regional, and intergovernmental organizations.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of the fee payment.
  • In case training is cancelled, a full fee will be reimbursed. In case training is rescheduled, the delegates will be given the option to continue the registration or request full reimbursement.
  • All registration cancellations by delegate(s) intimated within 10 working days before the start of the training will be entertained, and the full fee will be reimbursed. No cancellations will be possible after it; however, replacements are possible at any time before the start of the training.
  • All delegates need to have access to computers.

Fee information

The training fee for one participant is $150 USD. There are group and student discounts (students must have an active student card). This fee includes training material, trainers’ fees, and a certificate. This also includes a two-week free consultation after the training. The following are the discounts applicable.
• 5% discount for early bird registration (before 10th June).
• 5% for 2/3 participants from the same organization.
• 7% discount for registration of 4+ trainees from the same organization.
• Note: Discounts are mutually exclusive.

1. After you submit your registration for the training, an invoice will be generated along with the payment instructions.
2. Final confirmation of registration, along with a detailed itemized training agenda and related instructions, will be provided once payment of the fee is confirmed.
