Level 3 Highfield Accredited Hostile Environment Awareness Training/Hostile Environment First Aid Training (HEAT/HEFAT) course

Do you or your team belong to a media organisation, production team, NGO, aid agency, oil and gas company, consulting firm, security team, or humanitarian group venturing into remote and high-risk areas? Join us for our HEAT/HEFAT course where participants will engage in comprehensive training designed to prepare them for high-risk environments. Over the four days, attendees will learn critical skills such as risk assessment, personal security measures, and emergency medical response, all taught by experienced instructors with real-world expertise.

Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT)and Hostile Environment First Aid Training(HEFAT) are practical holistic training courses that combine theory with highly realistic simulation.The courses are designed to equip individuals with the skills to work in high-risk environments as safely as possible whilst practicing ‘do no harm’.

Our in-depth course curriculum includes:

· Risk analysis
· Trauma first aid
· Mass shooting
· Digital security
· Trauma security
· Counter surveillance
· Kidnap and ransom
· Mines, UXO and IED threat
· Weapons and their effects
· Civil unrest

Throughout the course you will also have subject matter experts delivering trauma psychology and digital security.

Fee information

£1,800.00 plus VAT The fee includes accommodation, refreshments, lunch and evening meals.
