Quality & Accountability Training

The "Quality and Accountability" training workshop aims at increasing the capacities of actors involved in humanitarian response by applying quality and accountability humanitarian standards and tools throughout the project cycle management phases.

Learning Objectives

After this training, the participants will be able to:

  1. Identify key initiatives and tools contributing to Quality and Accountability.
  2. Outline opportunities, challenges, and resources in implementing Quality and Accountability throughout the project cycle management for the humanitarian response.
  3. Use existing standards and tools in an appropriate manner in their specific local context.
  4. Apply Quality and Accountability considerations at each stage of the project cycle management (and HPC).
  5. Highlight areas of good practice and potential improvement in Quality and Accountability amongst local actors and convert that to practical approach.

Course Content

The training is structured into 10 modules that will provide participants with skills in quality and accountability with 5 modules focusing on humanitarian standards and tools that can support humanitarian actors at each phase of the Project Cycle Management.

The course is designed for: Staff of UN Agencies, national and international NGOs, and anyone interested in learning more about how to apply quality and accountability standards throughout the project life cycle.
