“Measuring impact quantitatively - designing and collecting data”

This is a one-hour session ideal for Monitoring and Evaluation professionals who are interested in learning more about measuring impact. It is the first of two parts on the topic "Measuring impact quantitatively". The first session focuses on the 'design and collect' process and the second session discusses statistics for impact analysis.

  • Introduction to survey analysis for impact
  • Using cognitive interviews to improve survey instruments
  • Qualitative alternatives to demonstrating impact

The content is particularly useful to M&E practitioners who are responsible for designing surveys and data collection systems for their organization and wish to expand their knowledge on working with quantitative data and methods to demonstrate the impact of their work.
