Remote Management: Putting Theory into Practice - Free Webinar

The COVID-19 crisis has made it mandatory for many humanitarian teams to work remotely. New skills are needed to be able to change our ways of working and to do it effectively.

In our last webinar we discussed theories of management and tools to enable efficient remote management. This time round we shall be exploring real life examples of how these theories are put into practice. Guest speaker Deborah Barry will be taking us through her experience of managing teams remotely and the rewards and challenges of the same.

Join us on Thursday 5th November at 10:00am GMT, and do send through any questions you have or examples you would like to share during the webinar of remote management in practice. You will also be able to earn a badge for the webinar immediately after the session.

Deborah Barry runs her own company Humanitarian Leadership and Consulting. For three years she was the Senior Humanitarian and Leadership Advisor/Associate at the Center for Humanitarian Leadership at Deakin University. She is also an independent Senior Child Protection and Youth Inclusion consultant working closely with organisations such as UNICEF, DFID, ECHO, Mercy Corps, USAID, Nike, Mastercard and Save the Children. Deb has additionally been developing trainings for a wide array of organisations.
