This is a comprehensive two weeks course designed to help participants learn and understand how to use GIS in projects monitoring and evaluation.

The participants will be exposed to Data Collection, Management, Updating, Analysis, Visualization and Reporting in a GIS environment.

They will also learn how to integrate spatial and non-spatial data from different sources and displaying the same in a GIS environment.

v Development of field data collection tools

v Basics of mobile mapping

v Designing field data collection tools

v Coding data collection tools using ODK

v Understanding real time, near-real time and downloading of field data

Day 9

v Practical field data collection

v Processing of field data

v An understanding of data and information sharing methods

v Dissemination and Reporting in monitoring and evaluation
