The aim of the course is to instruct students, who are already Level 3+ (IMAS) ‘Land’ certified, to the required levels of knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to perform the duties & tasks (during EOD Operations) of a qualified IMAS Level 3+ EOD Operator ‘Maritime’. Until recently, national militaries have maintained almost exclusive expertise in clearing underwater EO. Today, however, different types of organisations, such as non-governmental organisations (NGOs), commercial companies and teams of local authorities are clearing these hazards. The approach outlined in this standard combines military tactics and mine action methodologies using commercial technology to clear underwater EO in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner. The levels of competency training meets IMAS 09.60; ‘Underwater Survey & Clearance of Explosive Ordnance (E0)’ Disposal Level 3+ ‘M’ Criteria. The course focuses on Maritime EO task management and planning of Maritime EO operations, its demolitions and potential recovery and explosive storage. The level of competency training exceeds IMAS Level 3+ Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) qualification, applicants must be in procession of an IMAS EOD Level 3+ ‘Land’ Certificate or equivalent to attend this course.

We assist our students obtain their Kosovar visa if they need a visa to enter Kosovo. Please note that if you require a visa to enter Kosovo we need to receive the deposit for attendance and visa application documentation 35 days before the course start date in order to have your visa application processed in time.

Fee information:
The IMAS EOD Level 3+ 'Maritime' training fee is €2,384.00 and includes all training, training materials, equipment, certification, accommodation, all meals, transfers between Pristina airport and the school, Kosovo visa fee if needed and Category A insurance for the practical phase of the course.
