This programme aims to create a critical mass of professionals and networks. These professionals will be trained in good governance, leadership and management in health sector and will be tasked to promote the same in their respective surroundings.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, the participants should be able to:

i. Define the concept of health systems

ii. Analyze the roles and challenges of various components of a health system

iii. Describe the management, Leadership and Governance principles and approaches used in health sector

iv. Apply quality management models in hospitals – HMIS, Health financing, service delivery, supply chain Management

v. Apply the role of monitoring and evaluation systems and frameworks in health systems

vi. Undertake a project to address health sector challenges in a selected department in a health facility

Fee information:
COST: USD 1000/ Kshs 100,000 This caters for stationery, mid-morning and afternoon teas with snacks, lunch, certification and facilitation.
