Community Engagement in Displacement Responses

Overview

Join the Community Engagement Forum: A Global Hub for Practitioners Committed to Putting Communities at the Center of Humanitarian Response

Overview:

The Community Engagement Forum (CEF) is a global, interagency, and intersectoral platform designed to enhance community engagement in displacement responses. It provides a virtual space where humanitarian practitioners can share resources, tools, and innovative approaches to improve engagement with displaced communities.

Facilitated by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in collaboration with the Global CCCM Cluster, and supported by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the forum connects practitioners globally to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and develop effective strategies for community engagement.

As part of its mission, the forum focuses on inclusivity, prioritizing marginalized groups, including women, and promoting the empowerment of those affected by displacement.

The CEF online platform allows any member to post questions, respond to queries, and share resources. All shared resources and conversations are stored in accessible files, categorized under relevant hashtags. The forum also maintains active profiles on LinkedIn and Instagram.
