Zambia: Cholera Outbreak - Dec 1990

Disaster description

In early Dec 1990, a cholera outbreak broke out in Zambia. A total of 667 cases and 85 deaths were reported in three provinces (Northern, Luapula and Copperbelt). The International Community assisted mobilized resources and helped fight the spread of the disease. (UN DHA, 20 Dec 1990)
