UNHCR Regional Director for Southern Africa, Valentin Tapsoba, visited Zimbabwe on a 3-day mission to meet with Government authorities, the UNCT, partners and refugees at Tongogara Refugee Camp.
UNHCR led an Intention Survey of the Mozambique community in Tongogara Refugee Camp in December 2022 to collect primary data on their current situation and intentions.
UNHCR and its gender partner organized four GBV discussions on definitions and types of GBV, causes and potential solutions to end GBV. A total of 275 refugees attended the meetings.
