Yemeni peace talks continue
KUWAIT, June 4 (KUNA) -- Prisoners and detainees' committee, shooting off the ongoing UN-sponsored intra-Yemeni peace talks, held a meeting Saturday to review lists of both the Government and Ansarullah movement and General People's Congress (GPC) delegations.
The committee will meet with each delegation; separately, to look into the reports in a bid to reach a mutual understanding. A second round of talks is scheduled later this afternoon.
UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed is also set to meet with involved parties later today in an attempt to chalk out a roadmap that would eventually lead to a peaceful solution to the warring situation in the Arab country.
