In line with the 2025 Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) statement on the humanitarian reset, the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) kicked-off a US$20.6 million First Standard Allocation, focusing on saving lives by reducing morbidity and mortality in 25 districts, out of the 123 districts classified under severity levels 4 and 5. The response will deliver integrated and multi-sectoral life-saving interventions, prioritizing key activities underpinning the reprioritization exercise of the 2025 Yemen Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan (HNRP). In particular, the allocation will address the compounded needs of women, girls, and other marginalized and vulnerable groups such as internally displaced persons and the elderly, while mitigating protection risks in their environment.
