The National Protection Cluster has launched the third updated version of the National Protection and AoR Service Mapping (October 2024 Update), a collaborative tool designed to improve coordination and service delivery for protection services. This tool provides an overview of services in General Protection, Child Protection, Women Protection, and Mine Action. It allows users to filter services by location, type, and organization. It also features a geographical map for easy navigation. The updated system enhances referral mechanisms at national and sub-national levels, helping partners identify service gaps and ensuring vulnerable populations receive timely interventions. Additionally, a new referral tracking mechanism monitors the progress of referrals, ensuring no one is overlooked. This tool aims to strengthen coordination, improve access to services, and fill gaps in protection services for vulnerable groups. The new Service Mapping enables partners to update their services on a regular basis, ensuring efficiency in referrals and access to services.
