Yemen: Organizations’ Presence - September 2023 [EN/AR]

OVERVIEW

In September 2023, 137 aid organizations carried out activities as part of the Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) across all districts in Yemen. Among them, nine UN agencies conducted response activities in 332 districts, while 91 national NGOs were active in 291 districts, and 37 international NGOs operated in 212 districts.

The Food Security and Agriculture Cluster (FSAC) had the highest number of organizations implementing activities, with 53 active partners operating in 261 districts. The Education Cluster had 40 organizations working in 76 districts. The Protection Cluster had 39 organizations active in 197 districts. The Nutrition Cluster and WASH Cluster ranked fourth and fifth in terms of the number of organizations, with 37 organizations operating in 331 districts and 36 organizations in 90 districts, respectively.

During the same period, the Health Cluster had 35 organizations implementing response activities across 325 districts. The CCCM Cluster also had 21 organizations carrying out activities in 87 districts. The Shelter Cluster had 19 organizations implementing activities in 43 districts.
