Yemen: Organizations’ Presence - August 2023 [EN/AR]

OVERVIEW

In August 2023, 138 aid organizations carried out activities as part of the Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) across all districts in Yemen. Among them, nine UN agencies conducted response activities in 332 districts, while 88 national NGOs were active in 304 districts, and 41 international NGOs operated in 209 districts.

The Food Security and Agriculture Cluster (FSAC) had the highest number of organizations implementing activities, with 56 active partners operating in 227 districts. The WASH Cluster had 40 organizations working in 102 districts. The Health Cluster had 38 organizations active in 328 districts. The Protection Cluster and Nutrition Cluster ranked fourth and fifth in terms of the number of organizations, with 38 organizations operating in 178 districts and 36 organizations in 330 districts, respectively.

During the same period, the Education Cluster had 32 organizations implementing response activities across 61 districts. The Shelter Cluster also had 21 organizations carrying out activities in 52 districts. The CCCM Cluster had 19 organizations implementing activities in 86 districts.
