In November 2024, 18 WASH partners reported water trucking in 169 IDP sites. Water trucking activity in 97 IDP sites benefitting 215,236 IDPs will be discontinued within 3 months due to completion of humanitarian WASH response project, which requires continuous funding of $92,902 per month. Besides, water trucking in 43 IDP sites benefitting 46,797 will be also discontinued after 6 months.
Yemen WASH Cluster appeal an urgent funding support to continue life-saving water trucking activities in these locations because there is no possible durable solution such as extension of water supply network from nearby water supply systems.
