Attachments
More than 10 million people are food insecure in Yemen, according to the preliminary findings of the 2012 Comprehensive Food Security Survey (CFSS). There are 465,174 internally displaced people and more than 200,000 refugees and asylum seekers from the Horn of Africa. Yemen suffers from food insecurity, malnutrition and water-borne diseases. Low funding levels are challenging effective delivery of assistance; the humanitarian response plan was 17 per cent funded as of 19 March 2012.
