Yemen Humanitarian Fund: YHF 1st Reserve Allocation in 2023

The 1st Reserve Allocation 2023 of the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) was launched on 6 April 2023 with the objective to reduce the effects of climate change and natural disasters on affected people ahead of the rainy seasons.
First, this allocations aims to enhance emergency preparedness and response efforts for floods and mitigate their impact ($5 million).
Second, it will pilot the first-ever floods Anticipatory Action approach implemented by the YHF ($3 million).
This $8 million allocation was awarded to 7 partners implementing a total of 8 projects across five clusters. The funding will target more than 0.3 million people in need, in 22 districts across 5 governorates.
