I. HIGHLIGHTS/KEY PRIORITIES
• WFP continues its efforts to deliver food assistance to five million vulnerable people in Yemen under a challenging operating environment.
• With a current shortfall of US$128 million for its 2013 operations, WFP is continuing to reach out to local and international donors for support. New funding will be required by the end of June to avoid food pipeline gaps in mid-2013.
• A budget revision is being prepared for the EMOP to include transferred commodities from previous operations and to reflect new operational rates.
