Yemen: Emarati field hospital provides healthcare to floods victims

Sana'a - The UAE Field Hospital, set up by the UAE Armed Forces in the Yemeni city of Seyoun, has started to provide healthcare services to the people affected by the floods which hit several provinces in Yemen.

The hospital was set up in line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and General H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces and under the directives and follow up of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister '&' Chairman of the UAE Red Crescent Society.

The hospital has medical specialists in internal medicine, obstetrics, Orthopaedics, paediatrics, dermatology and others.

Yemen's Deputy Prime Minister Sadiq Amin Abu Ras expressed his country's appreciation to the support being given by the UAE.

"The government and people of Yemen appreciate and highly value the unlimited support given by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his brothers Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates." he said The hospital has facilities for minor and major surgeries. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
