Updates & Context
In Q1 2025, the suspension of USAID funding created significant operational challenges for IOM’s IDP camp management in Yemen, affecting partner verification and resource allocation. This period also involved a strategic shift in feedback mechanisms, consolidating all CCCM CFM mobile numbers into a single, centralized hotline. During this quarter, 28 fire incidents were also reported across 17 IDP sites, damaging fewer than 30 shelters and personal belongings. Moving forward, CCCM plans to hand over 19 sites to local authorities after providing them with the necessary training and support to manage the sites effectively.
