This snapshot provides an overview of the Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) programming implemented by humanitarian actors in Yemen. From January to March 2023, humanitarian actors reached 2.24 million people with cash-based interventions, disbursing a total amount of US $ 71.99 million.
The Food Security and Agriculture Cluster remains one of the clusters with the highest sectoral reach in terms of cash. With regards to the multipurpose cash assistance (MPCA) programming 103K people in dire need were reached in the first quarter of 2023, with a total of US $ 8.15 million.
The existing market functionality and operational capacity by partners provide a solid foundation for the continued scale up of cash and voucher assistance
