This snapshot provides an overview of the Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) programming implemented by humanitarian, social protection and development actors in Yemen. From January to December 2023, humanitarian actors reached 2.89 million people with cash-based interventions, disbursing a total amount of US $201 million. The Food Security and Agriculture Cluster remains one of the clusters with the highest sectoral reach in terms of cash and voucher assistance. With regards to the Multi-purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA), 704,000 people were reached with a total of US $51.28 million.
On the other hand, social protection and development actors managed to reach 9.80 million people, disbursing a total amount of $188 million from January to December 2023 with cash based interventions.
