HIGHLIGHTS:

• The food security situation remains critical in Yemen, with WFP data showing that nearly twothirds of households nationwide remain unable to obtain their minimum food needs.

• WFP’s nutrition activities face severe funding shortfalls, with significant impacts on already vulnerable groups. An additional 360,000 pregnant and breastfeeding women and girls will be cut off from life-saving moderate acute malnutrition management support as of April.

• WFP has reduced United Nations Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS) flight services to Yemen due to funding shortfalls.

• A Food Security and Livelihoods Assessment is underway in internationally recognized Government of Yemen-controlled areas.
