Sana’a, Yemen – 15 December 2024 – The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development has contributed USD1.5 million to UNICEF to sustain vital primary healthcare services in Yemen. This critical support will enhance UNICEF’s humanitarian initiatives, ensuring that essential health services reach vulnerable women, girls, and boys across the country.
Access to primary healthcare in Yemen remains a lifeline for millions. Strengthening national health systems through PHC brings essential health and wellbeing services closer to communities, ensuring better health outcomes for all.

It will enable us to sustain vital primary healthcare services that are essential for survival and recovery in Yemen.
