SUPPORTING THE POPULATION OF YEMEN
Solidarités International (SI) is present in Yemen since 2017. In the face of the conflict persisting for the past nine years, SI designed a comprehensive humanitarian response, encompassing both immediate emergency interventions and the expansion of resilience and capacity-building programs tailored to populations enduring these prolonged crises. The mission is now composed of four operational bases: Aden for coordination and emergency response, Al Mokha, Ta’izz, and Marib.
With the invaluable financial support of ECHO, YHF, DG INTPA, CDCS, AAP, SDC, and USAID, as well as close coordination with partners in consortiums, clusters and local authorities, SI has been able to provide crucial relief and longterm support in the areas of Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), and Food Security & Livelihoods (FSL).
This third newsletter highlights the successful interventions implemented in July, August and September 2024.
