I. Priorities and Gaps in MHPSS Service Provision
1. The meeting identified several key challenges affecting the provision of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services in Yemen, including:
o A significant decline in funding proposals and allocations for mental health activities.
o A critical shortage of psychotropic medications.
o A high demand for mental health services, with insufficient funding to meet this need.
o The lack of integrated MHPSS services in most healthcare facilities.
o Poor coordination between partners and stakeholders.
o The absence of a clear plan for MHPSS interventions.
2. The meeting also noted the last discontinuation of MHPSS-TWG meetings, which has hindered coordination and collaboration among stakeholders.
