Hamdan bin Zayed orders emergency relief to Yemen's flood victims

Abu Dhabi, 26 Oct. 2008 (WAM) - In line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister '&' Chairman of the Red Crescent Authority, has ordered dispatch of relief materials to the people affected by the floods which hit Yemen recently.

Sheikh Hamdan instructed the RCA to provide every possible help to the flood victims in Yemen to improve the humanitarian situation in the affected areas.

Dr Ali bin Abdullah Al Kaabi, RCA's Board Chairman, said the Authority had taken all arrangements for quick dispatch of the relief materials in the provinces of Hadramout and Al Mahra, in collaboration with the Yemeni Red Crescent Society.
