Scale-up Plan 2019
• Improve capacity of existing ETC hubs to support increased humanitarian operation in Sana’a, Al Hudaydah, Aden, Sa’ada and Ibb, including:
- Technical assessment and support - Hardware upgrade and/or replacement - Bandwidth upgrade
• Establish new ETC hubs, to support increased humanitarian presence in Aden, Mukallah, Mukha, Tuba and Bajil

Enhance and expand security telecommunications coverage, including:

Purchase and deploy 11 repeaters (6 for the INGOs and 5 for expansion)

Install 30-metre antenna towers in Aden, Sana’a and Al Hudaydah - Enhance the communication during road missions by identifying and deploying a better means of communication with low profile and visibility

Bolster human resources to support increasing activities on the ground, including:

Recruit national ETC assistant/telecommunication technicians in Sa’ada, Ibb and Mukallah
• Ramp up local capacity building by providing advanced technical training to 30x more staff to support expansion of ETC services.
