ADEN, 2 December, 2017 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has signed an agreement with Lahij Governorate, Yemen, for building a water supply network in Al Anad area.
The agreement also includes installation of a solar-powered water pump.
Nasser AlKhabji, Governor of Lahj, paid gratitude to the UAE for extending support for the governorate.
The beneficiaries also thanked the UAE for providing much-needed assistance to the people of Yemen, saying the new project would contribute to easing the burden on living conditions.
The ERC has supported infrastructure projects in the governorate in education, health and electricity sectors.
